Diamond Systems Data Privacy Policy
The following Diamond System's Privacy Policy has been updated to provide more control by our "Customer" (to include customers,
suppliers and sales partners) over the data that is shared with us, in addition to supporting new data protection laws that reflect privacy laws
applicable to the processing of this data, including EU GDPR.
"Data" under this policy means any information related to an identifiable person and includes information that is
received and processed by Diamond Systems in the course of providing services.
Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of Diamond Systems. Diamond Systems shall "process" or use Customer Data as described in
this data policy. The information captured by Diamond is limited to the basic information needed to provide the Customer with the requested
service for which one has consented.
Data Use
We understand that your data is sensitive. We collect only the data necessary to perform the requested task,
when your permission has been granted, and only when you are aware of the information being collected. Customer Data may be used
for the following purposes:
- To perform and provide Service to the Customer (Quotes, sales, product information)
- To provide customer support to Customers (sales issue follow-up, product information to include technical support)
- To improve and enhance the Service (surveys, customer service, administrative calls)
- To communicate about products and services that may be of interest to you (newsletters, emails)
Diamond will not use Customer Data without your explicit permission to do so. As a Customer, you have the right to know
the purpose for which your data is being used and the right to withdraw your consent (including the right to be forgotten).

Where do we gather information?
Diamond Systems' website uses cookies for people who register on our site or who have submitted a request for a sales quote.
Information for registered users is stored and used only for this purpose. Web forms are posted throughout the site for visitors who wish to
subscribe to occasional email newsletters containing information about Diamond Systems including updates and product information.
To subscribe one must provide consent for these emails and the information is stored securely.
Customer information that is gathered in the course of our sales and support processes is used to assist in communications
in customer business activities such as sales quotations, the logistics of the sale and follow up with customer service issues.
Confidential Data
Diamond Systems will not sell or market Customer Data to any third party. Those persons who are authorized by Diamond
Systems to process Customer Data (including employees, agents and subcontractors) shall be under an appropriate obligation of confidentiality.
Diamond Systems may engage "Sub-processors" (3rd party vendors) to process Customer Data on Customer's behalf. An example of
this could be a vendor assisting with broadcasting our email newsletter from its server. The names of any Sub-processors we are currently working
with can be obtained by emailing your request to dataprotection@diamondsystems.com.
Security
Diamond Systems maintains appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent unauthorized destruction,
loss, alteration, disclosure of or access to Customer Data. Customer may request more information, on a confidential basis, about Diamond Systems'
security measures by contacting dataprotection@diamondsystems.com.
Retention
Diamond Systems generally keeps Customer Data indefinitely to help conduct our business affairs, except as described below.
Deletion
Upon periodic review or customer request, Diamond Systems will delete select Customer Data from our files. Deletion
shall not occur to the extent Diamond Systems is required by applicable law to retain some or all of the Customer Data, or to Customer
Data it has archived on back-up systems, which Customer Data Diamond Systems shall securely isolate and protect from any further processing,
except to the extent required by applicable law. Customer may send all requests for deletion of Customer Data to
dataprotection@diamondsystems.com.
Retention policies described may prevent Diamond Systems from fulfilling deletion requests. If Diamond Systems is unable to
delete Customer Data for technical reasons, Diamond Systems will apply measures to ensure that Customer Data is blocked from any further Processing.
